Cruz Villa Hornacina

It represents a space of sacralisation and religious character, in the form of an open hole in a wall with a semicircular floor plan. Inside the niche is the “Cruz de la Villa”, decorated with flowers and candles by the villagers themselves, who take care of it and protect it through a handmade wrought iron grille and covered by a small roof.

This niche is the only one that still remains from the old Via Crucis. It is most important on the Day of the Cross, which takes place in the month of May.

It can be visited at any time of the year.
