It represents a space of sacredness and religious character, in the form of an open hole in a wall and with a semicircular plan. Inside is the “Cruz de la Villa” decorated with flowers and candles by the town's own residents, taking care of it and protecting it through a hand-crafted wrought iron fence and covered by a single-sided roof.
This niche is the only one that still remains from the old Via Crucis. Taking on greater relevance is the Day of the Cross that takes place in the month of May.
