Festivities

Alozaina celebrates its patron saint festivities on July 25 to 29, "Santiago and Santa Ana", and on September 8, it celebrates the "Oceituna Festival", being one of the first towns in Spain where the olive harvest begins. green olive, which is known by the name EL VERDEO.

 

The “Pilgrimage of the Santa Cruz de Joróx” is celebrated on the first Sunday in May, a valley of orchards and orange groves. Alozaina maintains the traditional Jorox fandangos.

 

Other festivities are Holy Week, Corpus Christi and Carnival with the Harineo, a day when Alozaina is covered in flour snow.
